August 15, 2024 – Hurricane Ernesto
➡️ The current track, which will change, has Ernesto as a Category 2 hurricane as it enters Canadian waters.
➡️ It looks like it will hook east and mostly avoid the Maritimes with possible impact on Newfoundland.
➡️ Ernesto will most likely be downgraded to a post tropical depression before making landfall in Atlantic Canada (as of now, too early to tell, most likely eastern Newfoundland).
⚠️ It remains prudent to monitor this storm especially as the weekend comes to a close.
